kaka, I would think 2 months of regular study would be plenty of time. If you have a good background in security the rest is pretty straightforward. For me, I studied pretty regularly over the month of May to prepare for the June exam.

Priya, welcome to the blog! =)

All the infrastructure and security stuff is basically a rip of the CISSP info, so you can always use the study materials regarding those topics from any good CISSP study guides.

Other than that, just keep banging away on it as much as you can between now and test day. Although i find that I do better if I take a break the day before the test and let my brain decompress. That way you are fresh when you go in for the test itself. I usually will scan the material one last time the morning of the test just to get that final lock in of the material.

Probably the best advice of all is this. Relax! It's a test, not a firing squad. =) You will do much better with a relaxed mindset. Also, trust your instincts. I find that my first answer is usually the right one, it's when I try to over analyze that I run into problems.

Good luck on the test!

Hi Jeff,
Exam is just a week ahead and my practice test scores are pathetic. I am not experienced in infrastructure and security domains either. What advice would you have for me?

Really appreciate your help and best wishes :)

Regards
